Cycle for Survival

Cycle for Survival is a national movement dedicated to beating rare cancers through high-energy indoor cycling events. Founded in 2007, the organization's mission is to accelerate life-saving cancer research and treatment breakthroughs at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK). It focuses on supporting research for rare cancers, which encompass about 50% of all cancer diagnoses but receive a fraction of the funding available for more common types. By rallying thousands of participants each year, Cycle for Survival empowers patients, survivors, and supporters to unite for a powerful cause: to beat rare cancers and provide hope to countless families impacted by these diseases. Since its inception, Cycle for Survival has raised over $360 million, with 100% of every dollar directly funding critical rare cancer research led by MSK. These funds have supported groundbreaking advancements in areas such as immunotherapy, precision treatment, and pediatric cancer care. The organization's unique approach ensures that donations rapidly translate into new therapies and clinical trials, helping to bring effective treatments to patients faster.
